This was the start to a wonderful holiday...I surprised my family with my homecoming and the news of the baby. Everyone was very surprised, my Grandpa especially. I am his eldest grandchild and any time I get with Grandma and Grandpa are so precious to me. I love this family tradition and I hope I can bring Marcus one year so he can experience it.
This picture has been a traditional picture since I can remember. It is rare that all of my brothers and sisters are together at the same time so Mom had to have the "picture on the pig" one last time. We did inform her that this is the last year on the pig. It is time for the grandkids to get on the pig. Just for info. this pig is a giant piggy bank in downtown Seattle that collects money to donate to Children's Organization and it has become tradition for all the kids to pose on the pig for a picture.
What a lovely picture of Grandma and Grandpa...oh yes, do not forget Bailey the dog. This picture will definitely make the frame!
