We got back from out tubing trip, got cleaned up put kiddos down for naps and started on the festivities. I did most of the dinner prep the day before so all I really had to do was roast the chicken and cook the mac & cheese. We nibbles on Christmas treats and cheese ball, we finished wrapping presents, we watched Christmas movies and mostly we just hung out with each other and enjoyed the company.
Dinner was delicious, roasted chicken, mac & cheese, jello, deviled eggs, cranberry sauce, and sparkling juice. This kind of meal is total comfort, it is warm and inviting and the perfect end to a wonderful day.
Oh yes, let's not forget dessert! Homemade vanilla ice cream and homemade apple pie...I tell you it doesn't get much better than this people.
