The last day my mom and sister were here we went to the historical part of Philadelphia to check out our nations history. My mom is really into politics these days and is really following this coming election. She was very excited to see some of our nations history. A lot of historical things happened in Philadelphia, PA. It really is pretty amazing to think of it.
We visited the Liberty Bell, Constitution Hall and the Constitution Center. I have seen it all before, but it really never ceases to amaze me the great country we live in and I am truly thankful for the founding fathers and their vision for our country.

This is the room of the Rising Sun located in Constitution Hall. Many great things took place in this room and it is set up to replicate what it may have looked like back in 1776.

Another statue of George Washington and a great quote! I hope "We the People" never forget the power we have to make change for the better and that we have an obligation to stand up for this great nation.
The Liberty Bell is a symbol of freedom. It has been a symbol for the freedoms of many people.
And just for good measure and picture of my little peanut...I love this kid!
