We have finally done it! I have been wanting to get bikes for the whole family for quite a while now. I was having some trouble deciding on what to get and Marcus was having trouble affording what he wanted. But after a lot of months of looking and saving up we made the big purchase. I got a beautiful comfort bike (it is a cross between a cruiser and a mountain bike), Marcus got a sweet mountain bike with all the bells and whistles ( he found this awesome website that has great deals), and Garrett got a ultra-sweet bike trailer. Last on the list was helmets and we are set. We have had a lot of fun using them as a family. Our community is very bike friendly so we get to use them often. There are some lovely trails to ride on for all levels of riders.
Marcus has taken his off road on some very difficult trails. Me, I just like to cruise around and enjoy the scenery, plus pulling 60 lbs behind me gives me my own set of challenges. Garrett loves to ride and the more bumps and the faster we go the better he thinks the ride is. Check out our pics below.
here we are on the way to the trail...notice three things. First you may notice a bald patch on my son's head. No, we did not do that to our kiddo...HE DID. I know every kid at some point cuts their own hair. Well, mine did it at 21 months and he didn't use scissors like most kids would, he used the clippers. YES, he found them turned them on and went to work. Who knows how bad it would have been if Daddy had not caught him in the act. We will try to keep the clippers hidden a little better from now on :) Second you will notice G plugging his ears, this is a new thing. He loves to sing while he is plugging them, it cracks me up and him too. Lastly you will notice the kooky grin on my kiddos face...well, let's just say he learned how to say cheese and loves to turn it on for the camera!

This little peanut is 21 months and still likes to ride in the Ergo. The best part is I still like to carry him in it. For anyone out there with a little one, this thing is the best. G has been in it since he was two weeks old. We have used it for grocery shopping, house work, yard work, walking, and many other things. If your kid likes to be close to you, this is the ticket!
