Marcus jr has decided to play baseball this year instead of football. It is bitter sweet for us ~ he is very good at football, but his Dad has always wanted him to play baseball. He will be playing fall ball this year and we hope he enjoys it as much as football. Because he hasn't played for a few years, we thought we would knock the dust off with a little Phillies Baseball Camp. Marcus has been so excited since we told him he was signed up. He is a natural and has improved so much over the summer from camp and a lot of hitting, catching, and throwing with his dad. Here are some of my favorite shots from camp...
I love the intensity in his face in both of these shots. He was so into it and so focused.

Again such focus and doesn't he look so grown up...just like a real ball player
Garrett loved going to watch his Bubba, he also liked finding stray balls and claiming them for his own. It's not going to be long before this little guys puts on his first uniform.
What is Phillies Camp without the Phanatic. The boys waited all week to see the Phillies Mascot, he came to their closing ceremonies to hand out awards.
We can't forget the team picture, the coaches were great and the boys had so much fun!
