This will make you want to belt out a little "Eye of the Tiger"

These are what we refer to as the Rocky steps...yes! These steps were the actual steps that Rocky Balboa climbed in the movie Rocky. There is not a statue of him at the top, but there is a statue of him as the bottom of the steps. These stairs actually belong to the Philadelphia Art Museum, but they are a hot tourist spot and since Mom was visiting we were tourists for the day. It was fun to climb the steps and the view from the top is amazing!

Garrett and Grandma climbing the steps hand-in-hand. They were fast, I had to run to the top just to get ahead of them enough to get a good picture.

Garrett at the top! He will attempt to climb onto and jump off of anything he can. No exception here...but this one posed a little challenge as it was round and not flat.

Instead of a statue of Rocky at the top, they have his foot prints. Too our surprise Sylvester Stalone has small feet...I guess I just expected them to be bigger :)

The View! Pretty amazing ~ Philadelphia has a amazing skyline.

Here is my little man climbing down "all by himself". In case you didn't know, he thinks he is a big boy...ok, whatever...Momma still knows better ;)


Since we made it all the way up and back down with no tragic accidents, we decided we rated a picture with the Man himself. The statue is pretty cool and myself being Rocky fan felt pretty motivated when I was done!
