We finally got some warmth and some sun today. We have had a few of these days, but it seems they have been accompanied by high winds. With the beautiful weather we decided to get out an enjoy it. We started the day with a bike ride to the post office. G rode his bike and I walked next to him. We told him last night before bed we would let him ride his bike in the morning and he sure enough remembered. He woke up asking when we were going to the post office. He loves to get outside and ride.
After the bike ride we went to the park to meet up with some friends. He was very excited to play with Abby. But of course...10 minutes after we got there G peed his pants, and I, #1 mom, didn't pack any extra pants. We had extra underpants but no actual pants. Luckily it was warm enough to go sans pants for a few minutes until a friend of mine brought a pair for him to borrow (thanks Megan!) After a few minutes he didn't seem to mind. All the kids played, the moms talked and eventually we all ate lunch. It was a fun afternoon and we all got some much needed vitamin D.
