The second full day Mom and Sister were here we went to the zoo. This was Alice's first trip to the zoo and she really enjoyed the animals. She is just so cute making all the animal sounds. Garrett also loves the zoo. We have annual zoo passes so Garrett has been many times and has his favorite places to visit. He loves the reptile house and the bears. He wishes they had deer at the zoo, but he will just have to save that for some hunting in the woods with daddy.
Once again the weather was amazing. I just can't even believe how nice the weather was while they were here. We got really spoiled with our early Spring. Now when it is below 60 degrees and am bummed out...I just have to remind myself that last year at this time we still had snow on the ground.
The merry-go-round at the zoo. I just can't get over how much kids love merry-go-rounds. It makes them so happy.
This little train ride is something Garrett has not got to do since we have had our passes. It was always closed or not working, but today it was and Garrett loved it. He really wanted to sit in the engine and drive, but he settled for the caboose.
Just a few of my favorite pics of my little peanut from the day. This kid loves being outside and he loves his sticks.
Just this week while they were here Spring really started showing signs of being close. There were tiny buds on the trees and this eagle was just amazing. We see them at my parent's house around the lake, but I have never seen one so close up. Our nations bird is just absolutely majestic.
