we have been planning on going WA for Thanksgiving for quite some time now and when we found out the ball bumped right up on our travel days we decided to just go from Oceanside to Vegas straight through to Olympia with a stop in Boise overnight. It has been a long five days. Our kids have been troopers, Marcus has been an awesome driver and I was, well, I was good company :) We are glad to be in Olympia with our family and we are so grateful to have the opportunity to spend Thanksgiving with my family. This is one of the rare times each year when we all are together and boy do we have fun when we are all together.
After a 5 hour trip to Vegas, 2 days in Vegas, 12 hours on the road to Boise and now we've been on the road for 5 1/2 hours, we only have 3 1/2 hours left. Of course there will be potty breaks, nursing breaks and traffic, but we are getting closer. This was my Instagram quote when I published this picture. It was so nice to hit I-5 and know that we were almost there.
